Be part of our mission to disrupt the traditional healthcare model and democratize data driven medicine! SOPHiA GENETICS is looking for a talented Intern - Quality Control to join the Quality Assurance team at our headquarters in Rolle, Switzerland.

The trainee will be responsible for defining a strategy for the reception, sampling and analytical control of incoming (raw materials) for SOPHiA GENETICS products. He/she will have to establish the criteria to be applied and evaluate the feasibility of this project in partnership with the different stakeholders, the planning and the cost of this study.

• Definition of the incoming in the SophIA products,
• Study of the quality standard in force,
• Definition of the reception strategy,
• Definition of the sampling strategy,
• Definition of the analytical criteria,
• Realization of a planning,
• Assure feasibility of this study,
• Assist with the writing and updates of working instructions and SOP.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent) with lab experience,
• Working experiences with next generation sequencing is a plus.
• Good communication, written and oral, skills in English and in French,
• Being able to work independently.

Location: Rolle, Switzerland. Office-based, including 2 days per week remote / 3 days on-site.

Start: ASAP (or as agreed)

Contract type: Internship, 6 months duration.
