Responsibilities
- As a member of the Datahub team you will have a key role in prototyping and development of our next-gen data platform, by discovering new ways of using our multimodal data to deliver valuable insights to biopharma partners. This will include researching, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, and support of the data products
- Leverage data transformation pipelines, statistics, machine learning or any tools necessary to iteratively build and improve the data products
- You will contribute to the overall data platform architecture by articulating your needs for data delivery. You will collaborate daily with senior technical staff in- and outside of the team.
- You will be expected to participate in Level 3 Support activities related to your products.
- You will actively participate in code and design reviews with other members of the team.
- As needed for your projects, you will participate in estimations and risk assessments, and exchange with stakeholders in Product and Project Management and other departments.
- You will participate in the team’s recurring activities and help organize them. You will share your knowledge of best practices in the team and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- You have demonstrated experience in analyzing real-world-data related to healthcare, genomics and pharmaceutical industries.
- You are a seasoned data scientist, well versed in everything from the basic statistics to machine learning. You are not afraid to touch data engineering aspects in order to deliver a valuable product.
- You seek to exchange regularly and communicate effectively with other members of your team.
Core skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree, in biological sciences, medically related field or computer/database related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical field (either direct or as customers)
- Strong understanding of clinical records and genomic data structures / types.
- Direct experience in applying a variety of tools and techniques to organize, analyze and visualize RWD using relevant technologies (especially Python)
- Experience with of modern scalable database and data lake technologies, especially SQL amp; Spark.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a growth mindset.
- Excellent level of English, French is a plus.
