Founded in 2017, Unit8 is a fast-growing Swiss AI and data analytics consulting and services company dedicated to solving complex problems of traditional industries like automotive, chemical, financial services, manufacturing and pharma. Are You the team member we are looking for?
Unit8 is looking for a SeniorConsultant to join our growing Data amp; AI Consulting Practice in Zurich. Purpose of our Practice is to work alongside our data scientists and data engineers and advise clients with a holistic data amp; AI consulting offering, ranging from technical-operational to conceptual-strategic. You will have the opportunity to accompany state of the art data, AI amp; analytics projects with our clients. You will be involved in the whole lifecycle from business development and pre-sales to project implementation and client relationship building. You will become a core team member and take responsibility for scaling up the Data amp; AI consulting practice within Unit8.
You are:
- equipped with 5-8 years of work experience in a leading management consultancy at the intersection of business amp; technology
- experienced in both technical and strategic client projects within data, AI amp; analytics
- able to quickly identify and prioritise business challenges and provide innovative and relevant solutions, either during an ongoing client project or in business development activities
- talented in building lasting relationships to clients and team members
- a Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate in IT/ computer science, engineering, business, mathematics or natural sciences
- fluentGerman and English both written and spoken (French would be a plus)
- familiar with the Swiss business landscape and can (ideally) tap into an existing network of decision makers
- holding a Swiss passport or a valid EU/EFTA work permi
Requirements
What You’ll Do
Your role can evolve and will depend on our clients’ and internal challenges. In general, you will:
- interact with our clients to understand their data-related challenges and related tech and business questions they need to answer
- consult our clients on their path to become a data-driven company, e.g. by assessing the client’s data and machine learning maturity, identifying data-driven use cases, defining an impactful implementation roadmap, provide guidance on data and model governance, develop target operating models for analytics organisations or benchmark different analytics tools amp; platforms
- collaborate with our data scientists, data engineers and IT architects on the implementation of impactful data-based solutions and machine learning use cases
- interact directly with the head of our Data amp; AI Consulting practice as part of a small, high-performing team to co-develop the growth strategy and concepts for new data amp; AI consulting offerings
- contribute to our business development in preparing and participating in industry conferences, workshops and client sales meetings
- support the creation of white papers and industry thought leadership on data science amp; AI-related topics
