Wallee is a payment technology company that enables merchants to accept omnichannel payments - whether online in web shops, on mobile devices, unattended kiosks or in physical outlets with terminals. Our software engineers are working on a variety of projects ranging from big data systems to dedicated merchant integrations. Wallee requires a team of experienced and versatile software engineers to achieve our mission of providing the best payment experience to customers on the market. We use Scrum processes to organize our teams in multiple countries. We build technology leading payment systems that require a high degree of robustness, scalability and security. As we’re disruptors of the payment market we’re constantly pushing with our solutions into new areas.
We are recruiting for our office in Winterthur, Switzerland.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Discover bugs within the software by implementing processes, tools and strategies as well as by carrying out manual tests based on the understanding of the software.
- Shape the acceptance criteria during the writing of stories.
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
- Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes.
- Research and evaluate new tools, technologies, and oversee testing processes.
What you bring
- Strong understanding of the importance of software quality and with experience in software testing and development.
- Deep knowledge of testing procedures, test tools and an understanding of writing secure, testable code.
- Proficiency in writing test automations for example with Cypress.
- Proficiency in English.
- Good communication skills to interact with the different stakeholders.
- Ability to engage in the assessment of acceptance criteria.
- Mentoring other team members to help them grow.
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and provide support to different development teams.
