Nanny/Housekeeper - Lausanne - 20 hours/week - Long term

A family residing in Lausanne, in the canton of Vaud, is seeking an experienced part-time nanny/housekeeper to care for their home and their 4-and-a-half-month-old baby. We are looking for the ideal candidate who will be able to maintain their home impeccably organised and clean while also taking care of the well-being of their child.

Start Date: 1st of February 2024

Required Languages: English

Hours: 20 hours on two/three days per week, candidate's choice (except Fridays)

Main Tasks:

• Perform housekeeping duties
• Vacuum, sweep, and clean floors throughout the house
• Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and organizing clothes
• Iron clothes
• Provide care for the 4-and-a-half-month-old baby
• Attend to the daily needs of the child
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for the baby
• Participate in developmental activities

Requirements

• European/Swiss passport or Swiss work permit
• Previous experience in a similar role as a nanny/housekeeper
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work independently and manage household tasks effectively
• Knowledge of English is a plus but not mandatory
• Discretion, reliability, and respect for confidentiality
