The role
Located in Zug (Switzerland) with mandatory travel (approx. 20%). The Regulatory Compliance Lead is part of the Quality, Regulatory amp; Compliance team in EMEA and a key member of the organization, supporting the end-to-end delivery processes with Regulatory amp; Scientific expertise and foresight. The role oversees a product portfolio that currently exceeds 100 SKUs with annual spend on pace to be over $1B for 2023.
This highly transversal role partners in an Early Management mode with Ramp;D, third-party manufacturers, raw material suppliers and Distribution partners across a growing set of EMEA markets.
Key metrics for success: On-time and first-time-right product launches, Regulatory non-conformities rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting-up amp; Leading the Regulatory amp; Scientific team, roadmap amp; key processes;
- Coordinating Foresight and Early Warning;
- Supporting Risk Management;
- Mastering EMEA Regulatory Landscape;
- Leading Ingredients- amp; Formula compliance;
- Driving material Sustainability requirements;
- Regulatory amp; Scientific expert in Innovation/Ramp;D;
- Leading Artwork Approval across EMEA;
- Contributing to external Stakeholder Management (Authorities, Partners).
Requirements
- Completed Master degree (science or law) or comparable education;
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the area of regulatory compliance in the FMCG industry a must;
- Multi-market expertise;
- Curious with affinity for Science and Sustainability topics;
- Adept to Problem-solving techniques;
- Proactive with excellent organisation, multi-tasking and communication skills
- Attentive to details, reliable and transparent
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
