Your mission:
As a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in the accounting department. This role is responsible for operational accounting and controls. In this role, responsibilities include, but are not limited to being a key player for general ledger account reconciliations and recording of day-to-day operational transactions. The role will have significant interaction with cross functional teams, including HR, Tax, Treasury and Accounts Payable. This role will support the General Ledger Manager with the responsibilities outlined below:
Requirements

· Prepare and post general ledger journal entries and month-end close activities adhering to close calendar
· Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare various account analysis
· Record journal entries and prepare balance sheet reconciliations for Company’s payroll
· Assist in the development, rollout and continuous improvement of procedures and process
· Support special ad hoc projects as needed
The experience you bring
· Education in Accounting strongly desired, degree in Finance or equivalent
· 1-2 years prior experience within an accounting department
· Ability to learn and understand financial accounting systems/software
· Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
· Self-starter and deadline driven person
· Able to work in multi-cultural environment, with fluent English
· Analytical and organized person with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Good excel competencies
