The Role:

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Inventory Risk amp; Control Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is essential to our organization's success, as it entails optimizing the physical and financial aspects of supply chain and procurement operations. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of overseeing the implementation and operations of the internal control framework to support effective end-to-end risk management across the entire supply chain and procurement process.

The Inventory Control Manager will be part of the Supply Chain Finance function and will report to the Supply Chain Finance Controller. This role is based in Zug, Switzerland and requires travel within Europe of up to 40%-50%.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with external service providers to perform periodic inventory test counts throughout the year at each external business partner location, document findings and determine if reliance can be placed on the control procedures.

• Identify discrepancies, issues and operational process weaknesses and define actionable remediation plans addressed to the Congo Operations team and the management of external business partners.

• Independently manage cross-functional and company-wide improvement initiatives in the risk management and internal controls space, including regional or global roll-out plans.

• Work with external auditors to coordinate and carry out audit procedures over inventory held at locations managed by external business partners (raw materials and finished goods).

• Document, oversee and monitor the implementation and operation of internal controls over inventory flows at locations managed by external business partners (logistics partners, distributors, warehousing service providers, contract manufacturers).

• Act as subject matter expert to support other functions with the implementation and maintenance of new and existing risk management processes.

• Foster awareness and provide training to internal stakeholders to increase effectiveness of the internal control framework across the EMEA region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance or accounting. MBA or relevant professional certifications are preferred.

• Required work experience of 5-10 years in an international environment with exposure to supply chain, manufacturing and finance/accounting.

• Internal audit or Big 4 experience is a big plus.

• A strong grasp of internal controls procedures in the areas of supply chain and procurement.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools, including Excel and Powerpoint.

• Excellent process documentation and communication skills in English.

• An aptitude for collaborative work within a cross-functional team environment.
