Job Description

As the first Swiss employee insurer built around a full-stack technology platform, grape is revolutionising the insurance landscape with its relentless focus on serving its customers and distribution partners. We are currently seeking an experienced and very well connected Senior Broker Consultant based in the Romandie region to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Broker Consultant at grape, you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our broker network in the French speaking part of Switzerland. You will collaborate closely with brokers in order to position grape's insurance and platform solutions with their clients. Additionally, you will provide expert, advise and support throughout the client and relationship management process, ensuring an exceptional experience for brokers and clients alike.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with brokers, acting as the main point of contact for all their needs
  • Collaborate with brokers to identify new business opportunities and supporting the broker in their advisory process of their clients with grape's digital employee benefit insurance solution
  • Ensure the end-to-end management of all incoming tender requests and the delivery of our quotes to the broker in a proactive way of working paired with an attitude to deliver always at highest quality standards
  • Provide guidance and support to brokers in understanding and promoting grape's products and services
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and develop innovative solutions and the continuous development of our products and services
  • Monitor broker performance and provide regular feedback to optimise their advisory activities
  • Coordinate with grape's internal departments and technical functions to ensure seamless onboarding and servicing of broker accounts

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a broker consultant for an established insurance company in the French speaking part of Switzerland for at least five years
  • Large network of active broker relationships with all key broker houses in Romandie specialised in employee insurance
  • In-depth knowledge and technical expertise of employee insurance. Know-how of healthcare services and claims management is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Very strong customer orientation paired with a problem-solving attitude - make it happen.
  • Ability to thrive and evolve in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Winning attitude and a proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth above market average
  • Excellent written and communication skills in French - proficiency level of German and English language skills is a plus.
