Traditionally, the employee insurance industry and its processes have been cumbersome. Administrative headaches for HR managers, payroll managers, employees, doctors and claims managers, were the norm. Recognising the need for change, grape aims to revolutionise the traditional employee insurance model.

How do we set out to achieve that lofty goal? The grape platform integrates with the HR and payroll systems of our customers, allowing us to automate repetitive tasks, provide analytical insights, and suggest preventative measures. Due to our automations, we are able to provide a seamless absence management user experience for HR and payroll managers. Ultimately, this means that claims are paid out faster, creating financial security for all our insured employees.

Your goals

To execute on the people strategy, manage full cycle HR (incl. TA), be a first point of contact to all grape employees and partner with the managers and Leadership team

Your tasks
  • Drive a people strategy that facilitates and supports our growth. You will take responsibility for steering and developing HR topics in an end-to-end responsibility;
  • You will be partnering with the team, managers, the Leadership team and various stakeholders on people projects and topics;
  • Lead talent acquisition and implement strategies to attract, hire and retain best talent with a focus on building a diverse and inclusive team;
  • Being an all-rounder on HR topics you are responsible for all the employee cycle processes and administration. You will be the first point of contact for all our Grape employees;
  • Build a strong culture, managing and enhancing our people experience;
  • Ensure employment law, contractual terms and conditions are adhered to and consistently applied;
  • Oversee workplace operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: You have 4+years of experience in a relevant role as a people manager in a VC-backed company (i.e. that scaled from 10 to 100 employees) with responsabilites in the areas Recruitement, HR Strategy, Total Rewards, Culture and HR Operations.
  • Knowledge: You have a proven track record managing the full HR cycle and recruitment processes.
  • Results driven: You have strong collaboration and change skills and you are focused on delivery. You’ve done this before and you know where to find the right answers.
  • Team player: You are able to work in a team, you have business partnership skills and are able to work autonomously.
  • Communication skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
