Ready to revolutionize the future of employee insurance? Join us on an exciting journey to build the world's first fully digital employee insurance! Traditionally, the employee insurance industry and its processes have been cumbersome. Administrative headaches for HR managers, payroll managers, employees, doctors and claims managers, were the norm. Recognising the need for change, grape aims to revolutionise the traditional employee insurance model.

How do we set out to achieve that lofty goal? The grape platform integrates with the HR and payroll systems of our customers, allowing us to automate repetitive tasks, provide analytical insights, and suggest preventative measures. Due to our automations, we are able to provide a seamless absence management user experience for HR and payroll managers. Ultimately, this means that claims are paid out faster, creating financial security for all our insured employees.

Requirements

About you

  • Close to Bachelor or Master graduation or recently graduated.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English (C1).
  • Having practical experience from internships in consulting, startups, scale-ups, tech companies, or from entrepreneur/startup associations is favorable.
  • Ambitious and equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset to make things happen: given the scope, volume, and timeline of work, the ability to direct people - including oneself - towards a particular objective that may require active orchestration is key.
  • Ability to work with limited guidance and proactively collaborate with multiple stakeholders across and outside the organization: given the scope of work, you should be able to jump from one topic to another with a similar impact.
  • ‘Business’ sense and analytical skills: often you will have to think at the company level, assessing what would be best for the business, and working on topics that have cross-cutting impacts. The ability to understand what can make a business great (product-wise, commercially, in terms of image, etc.), and usually making correct decisions, even in the presence of ambiguity, is paramount.

  • You speak French and/or Italian.
  • Insurance knowledge/interest.

What you will be working on

  • Working alongside the team and the founders on business priorities, such as unlocking new growth, product decisions, and onboarding partners.
  • You will mainly work in the People and Health departments, which comprehend tasks like organising team events and trips, prepare content for our social media channels, prepare various applications for events and awards, prospecting and outreaching to health partners and support the promotion of the health platform.
