- Ensure compliance with laws, ordinances, guidelines and instructions as well as implementation of compliance training
- Support in regard to the implementation of KYC/AML policies, AML-monitoring and sanction screening
- Develop, implement and manage company’s compliance policies
- Draft contracts, reports and compliance reviews
- Prepare the necessary documentation for internal and external audit examination
- Communicate with external authorities, regulators and institutional counterparties
- Provide compliance advice and support to the wider business
- Assist with ad hoc compliance project work
- Law degree or similar education with strong GPA, and 5 years of relevant work experience within Compliance or Regulatory, bar admission is a plus
- Good understanding of Compliance functions and AML regulations
- Good knowledge of Portfolio management/hedege fund
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills in German and English
- Detail oriented with a focus on a high level of accuracy in written/oral work
- Must be objective, collaborative, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Radically open-minded to stay on the safe side when it comes to interpretations of legal and regulatory provisions.
