Job Description

We are hiring a highly analytical Data Analyst who is also a strong communicator, to create standardised and simple reports (along with commentary and recommendations) which serves Selecta's HR community plus our Group C-suite. An annual turnover of EUR 1.5 billion is a testament to the passion and dedication of more than 10,000 highly skilled Selecta employees, providing great quality coffee brands and convenient food and beverages concepts for the workplace, on-the-go as well as hotels, restaurants and cafes (HoReCa).

We are looking for an individual that has worked with Senior business stakeholders to shape reporting, providing clarity and critical updates around our People metrics. This role requires a rare mix of strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, along with analytical and data management capability - using Microsoft Excel and Access. You don't need to have worked within HR specifically, but you should have some qualifications related to data engineering OR business analytics and should be accustomed to dealing with huge volumes of data. This role will liaise with stakeholders across Selecta's 15 European countries and provides reports directly to our Group C-suite.

Some of the areas of reporting you'll be involved with are as follows:

HR KPIs amp; Dashboard Reporting

  • Identifies reporting needs linked to HR strategic agenda
  • Partners closely with HR Operations, Finance and IT to develop annual Reporting framework and future roadmap
  • Develops global HR KPI Dashboard to measure organizational effectiveness / health across regions and countries
  • Maintains and evolves HR dashboard(s) and data visualizations in a clear and compelling way to support HR and business audiences
  • Reports regularly to Region/Country HRDs on progress of Global HR Agenda
  • Responsible for the coordination of the Quarterly HR Reporting process (from data collection at country level, to consolidation into regional and global summary reporting and analytics)
  • Ensure data quality processes, driving consistent use and adoption of measures, hierarchies, tools and reporting standards
  • Provides input to the development and roll-out of group HR systems to ensure that key HR metrics will be incorporated and global reporting requirements
  • Create an on-going reporting environment that builds confidence and surfaces issues quickly

People Analytics amp; Decision Support

  • Based on HR Dashboard and reporting framework, provides strategic people amp; organization insights that help Leaders and as well as HR teams in regions and countries to make thoughtful and data-driven decisions
  • Supports the CHRO in the preparation of analytics and documentation for senior management meetings and in support of the roll out of new HR initiatives
  • Determine relevant approach for predictive analytics, including data requirements, trade-offs in analytical methods, and interpretation of results

Compensation and Benefits

  • Short Term Bonus Plan process owner; design, communication, target evaluation and calculation of bonus payments including payroll instruction and controlling
  • Interface to Finance; providing quarterly and annually compensation accrual data
  • Provides annual compensation statement to the top management and BoD
  • Maintain salary and bonus information tools for the entire Group
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business preferred
  • Certification or Masters Degree in Data Management and/or Analytics

Requirements

  • Proven related work experience
  • Must live within commutable distance of our Swiss Head Office in Steinhausen
  • Expertise in creating detailed reporting and analysis
  • Experience building and maintaining a data warehouse to collect, store, and organize data
  • Experience creating Excel-based dashboards (utilising Access is essential.)
  • Experience using data visualization to represent analyses to an executive audience
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies to generate insights, answering questions or creating solutions for an organization
  • Comfortable at communicating with senior stakeholders to provide analysis and contribute to solutions
