As a Finance Associate, you are the backbone of the company’s finances. You will be responsible for the preparation and oversight of the periodic and year-to-date financial reports, as well as providing management with detailed analyses to support the decision-making process. This autonomous role will give you the flexibility to shine, demonstrate your strong finance skills and allow you to contribute to the success of this exciting and fast-growing business.
Requirements
You are good at:
- Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reporting to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance
- Develop solutions to resolve accounting discrepancies and other financial issues
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
- Perform analyses of our business operations, financial commitments, and obligations to assist the management in the decision-making process
- Support the budgeting process across the organization
- Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of overall financial and accounting processes
- Be responsible for the risk management of the group
- Support on any regulatory reporting as well as requests
We need you to have:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant professional work experience
- Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures (e.g. IFRS)
- Advanced MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero / Rydoo) skills
- Basic knowledge of coding (e.g. Python, SQL, VBA)
- Strong attention to detail and very good analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands-on and independent working attitude
- Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Finance / Accounting / Banking or related field
- Additional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA or ACA), but not essential
