iOS Developer

Job Description
As part of GenomSys’ growth strategy, we are looking to hire an iOS Developer to develop the Company's iOS apps for genomic data visualisation and analysis, working directly with the head of mobile development and Android developers, implementing "sister" Apps for Android and integrating in mobile environment genomic analysis pipelines.
Within an innovative environment, the ideal candidate will work closely with the scientific department and business development team to finalise App features depending on customer needs.
We’re looking for someone who can express passion about the new technologies and the impact of genomic data analysis in Personalized Medicine and Healthcare.

The company has offices in Lugano and Lausanne, with mobile development team concentrated in Lugano - of course remote working is possible and envisaged, with however at least weekly in person meetings required particularly in the first months. Freelance option, if desired, possible for an interim initial period.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience in iOS development
- Excellent understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
- Solid knowledge of swift, Xcode, Objective C, Git, Unit testing
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and Design patterns (VIPER)
- UI, Design and Navigation Component experience
- Rest and GraphQL service integration experience
- Enthusiastic, curious and talented at problem solving
- Good team player with startup mindset
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Valid Swiss work permit or Swiss/EU citizenship a must
Also a plus
- An understanding of genomics, genome sequencing, genome analysis
- Fluency in Italian, French or German
- Experience in TDD
- Android development experience
