Main duties
As Group Head of Technical Procurement amp; Development you are responsible for the whole infrastructure of Selecta’s machinery and Equipment including Procurement, Service Management, Lifecycle and Development (Architecture). This involves strategic planning, budgeting and execution. The aim is to centralize, rationalize and operationalize the machine portfolio and infrastructure as efficiently as possible and to develop it further.
- Responsible for the indirect procurement of Commodities, Equipment and Facility Management (e.g., milk, sugar, cups, cleaner, technical equipment etc.)
- Evaluating the groupwide bundling potential for the related categories by respecting the real local differences
- Using international sourcing possibilities to secure best quality and service levels as best economical results
- Work on international tenders for standardized and non- standardized products.
- Translate the group’s One Selecta strategy and central policy into an implementation plan and framework for the category
- Determine service level agreements with market teams and corporate functions
- Communicate to, and challenge the supply base by ensuring they are achieving their goals as set out within the category strategy
- Creating data analyses as a basis for business decisions
- Provide line management and coaching for in-country Category and Procurement Managers, agreeing individual targets and accountabilities, together with sharing best practise cross markets
- Agree and review financial targets, budgets and sales revenue with individual areas of the Category and Market Trading teams and work closely together with them
- Keep up to date with product development information internally and externally
- Continually ensure personal behaviour reflects the vision and values of the business and involve teams in decision making
- Exploit new systems and processes to develop business
Professional competence
- Bachelor’s in economics or equivalent
- Excellent level of English (level C2 or native), any other language is an advantage
Profile
- Procurement experience in Commodities, Equipment and / or technical machines
- Similar experience in the service Industry working across Europe looking after equipment specifically- understanding of the technical aspect/entire value chain of equipment is important
- Client focussed with client experience at the heart of decisions
- Commercial in mindset and economical in approach - Pamp;L accountability
- Runs category as though it was their own business
- Agile, creative and solutions focussed
