Application Specialist Support Engineer

Main duties

• Perform the system changes adhered to organizational policies
• MS Office amp; IT support to Senior Management Staff in Swiss HQ location and productivity tool support (e.g. PowerBI)
• Set-up of laptops, peripherals, mobile devices
• Conduct remote desktop troubleshoot to end-users along with documentation ticket maintenance
• Maintain technical documentation in association with other functional departments
• Meeting room support and ownership for A/V technology
• Support printer and network equipment
• Support of service level management for workplace and cloud service operations (expertise in ServiceNow preferred)
• Support for global workplace operations (e.g. application packaging)

Professional competence

• Leveraging synergies with Group-provided IT services in cloud service delivery, application amp; support management, managed work-place provisioning (end-user computing)
• 2-4 years of experience in Onsite support
• Expertise in ITIL processes for Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request and related activities like spare and buffer stock management
• Fluent in English and German
• Windows operating system, antivirus knowledge, Microsoft active directory, cloud computing, and peripheral devices
• Clearly customer-oriented mindset to solve client issues and ensure end user satisfaction

Profile

• An essential degree in computer science, IT, Telecom or a related field
• Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician
• Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
• Preferred expertise in MS Azure, PowerBI, ServiceNow
