In our journey to impact on patients’ lives, we are looking for a Quality Coordinator (Quality Control Manager) in order to strengthen our Quality team based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The Quality Coordinator (QC Manager) is responsible to assist the Sr Quality manager with the maintenance and continuous improvement of SOPHiA GENETICS’ Quality and Information security management system.
The Quality Coordinator (QC Manager) coordinates quality control activities linked to business activities to ensure compliance with regulation.
Your mission:
- Implement and lead Quality control activities in the laboratory
- Ensure procedures and work instructions are up to date for Quality control activities
- Part of the continuous improvement of the quality control activities on a risk-based approach
- Manage QC related non conformities and participate to the resolution of customers’ requests for QC activities
- Develop, with the collaboration of experts, the quality control criteria for new products.
- Develop and implement quality control criteria for incoming raw materials
- Acts as quality controller for product release
- Participate to audit of the company’s various sites (external and internal audits) to present quality control activities
- Increase the awareness over quality controls matters within the company’s various department
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a scientific field (Biology, Bioinformatics),
- 5+ years of experience in medical device company,
- Strong knowledge of ISO 13485,
- Knowledge on molecular biologic technologies,
- Experience on laboratory production environment,
- Adaptability, good communication skills in French and English,
