As we further our mission to democratize data-driven medicine worldwide, we are looking for an energetic intern to join our Risk amp; Compliance team. It is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of a company that is ambitious, successful, international, and on a world-changing mission.

Scope

As a Risk amp; Compliance Intern, you will support the risk amp; compliance team on a variety of risk and compliance matters. Your role involves:

  • Work hand in hand with the Risk amp; Compliance Specialist to ensure that the business process owners adhere to policies and procedures;
  • Assist the Risk amp; Compliance Specialist to implement and follow-up on action plans to mitigate risks;
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to design, participate and coordinate corruption prevention framework;
  • Performs compliance due diligences for the onboarding of various third parties;
  • Perform research on specific laws and regulations;
  • Assist in continuous education and staff development of best practice methods, awareness and training;
  • Any other tasks as requested by the Risk amp; Compliance Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business School;
  • Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Team player with a positive mindset
  • Business-minded, solution-oriented, and can-do attitude
  • Self-starter
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, French and another language an asset.

Location : St-Sulpice (VD), Switzerland

Starting Date : September 2021 (or as agreed)

Contract Type : Temporary (6 months) full-time
