The Role
As a UX researcher at Unblu Inc., you will use your knowledge, expertise and skills to help us create and establish UX research best practices that will support our product (new features and the enhancement of existing ones) as well as inform and educate the team.
The role is 40-60% occupation and it is not a full-time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research (competitor research, usability testing, field studies, etc.) and interpret and identify patterns in user behaviors
- Generate insights and deliver compelling presentations of these findings to designers, product teams, and developers
- Challenge design decisions based on research-based evidence
- Work collaboratively with other departments / teams
- Manage time and resources for projects
Requirements
- Bachelors or Graduate degree in Psychology, HCI, Sociology, Anthropology, Information Science, and similar fields, OR significant professional experience practicing UX research in software companies
- Experience in conducting qualitative, generative and user-centered research methods (including screening and recruiting participants) but also analytics and quantitative data analysis
- Strong written and oral communication competence
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent at planning, analyzing and organizing with great attention to details
- Education skills to spread understanding of user research methodologies
- Fluency in English and German is a must
- Understanding of accessibility will be a plus
