For our Automotive Products Group based in Murten, we are looking for an Engineer Process Electronics/Software (w/m).

Responsibilities

• Design and build hardware and electronic components used to test actuators on automated machines
• Develop automation and testing software for both new and existing production machines
• Planning of control system hardware
• Development of measurement system technology for automated testing equipment
• Support production machinery on site in Murten and at other JE production locations
• Documentation, maintenance and archiving of software
• Create user’s manuals and error handling documentation for machine operation

Requirements

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or electronics engineering or comparable qualification
• 3-5 years of industrial experience in electronics hardware development and software programming
• Industrial experience with automated assembly for large volume production
• Strong experience in writing LabVIEW testing software
• Good knowledge of quality control processes
• Knowledge in programming PLCs (Beckhoff/Siemens/etc.) is an asset
• Independent, team - player, flexible
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Fluency in French or German is obligatory
