Growth Gurus are seeking a talented Business Development Specialist to join their global team. In this exciting role, you will be leading our sales strategy and be a driving force for business development and sales activities.
The Opportunity
This varied and fast-paced role will require you to work directly with the CEO and Founder of the business, as well as undertake other responsibilities, such as:
- Sourcing prospects and maintaining clients by following a proven sales process, developing relationships and cross-selling the services of Growth Gurus.
- Actively representing the Growth Gurus at events and networking opportunities with client professionals in the design and product communities.
- Achieving sales targets (per month and per quarter) while expanding our sales territory throughout Australian, US and European markets.
- Researching and delivering sales presentations, sales and activity reports while ensuring all case studies, portfolio and sales pieces are up-to-date.
- Further expanding knowledge of driving customer acquisitions, retention and growth for e-commerce brands.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience or more in a proactive sales role.
- Proficiency with Klaviyo, Justuno, Yotpo and Shopify platforms.
- Ability to autonomously manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and communicate professionally
Highly-regarded skills:
- Previous experience in ecommerce business ownership or hands on experience growing ecommerce brands.
- Knowledge of CRMs such as Pipeline
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
