Job Description
An ambitious forward thinking Dermatology company based in the centre of Basel have an exciting International Supply Chain Manager opportunity that will see the successful candidate within a year take over from the Head of Supply Chain.
This company have impressive 200% year on year growth and are eager to expand on this. They currently have 8 products on the market and have a further 8 more products in development, one of which will be released this year.
The International Supply Chain Manager forms part of the company management team and is responsible for the development of a supply chain strategy and management of a small team. This person will work closely with the Head of Supply Chain, CEO and CFO and be involved with critical decisions involving the company’s direction.
Tasks
- Management Experience
- Develop, manage and embedding of processes/SOP
- KPI/Dashboard management
- End to end Supply Chain
- Logistics management
- Inbound and outbound customs clearance
- Dangerous goods
- Forecasting and production planning
- Contribute to Sales amp; Operations Planning/Demand Capture
- Management of new product and new country launches
- Short term planning and scheduling
- Production Management
- Management of toll manufacturers
- Continuous improvement of processes and quality
- Inventory Management
- Stock and inventory management of raw materials and finished goods
- Management of inventory in remote Distribution centres
- Managing packaging/sku changes due to regulatory/marketing needs
- Purchasing
- Supplier amp; Sourcing Development- contingency planning
- Cost of goods analysis
- Quality Management
- Quality management ISO 13485 amp; 9001
- Non Conformance processing with root cause investigation and corrective action
Requirements
- End to end Supply Chain experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical Industry
- Dangerous goods knowledge an advantage
- Quality management experience, knowledge of ISO 13485 amp; 9001 an advantage
- Ability to manage complexity
- Manufacturing experience an advantage
- Experience of shipping raw materials and finished goods internationally.
- Product development and packaging experience an advantage
- Understanding of Production Processes
- Strong IT skills/Microsoft Excel
- ERP/ Navision Experience preferred
- Fluent English but additional languages an advantage
- Approximately 7+ years’ experience with an exposure to different areas within business
