Clemedi AG is a start-up company developing new diagnostic workflows for infectious diseases. By combining genome sequencing with machine learning we can recommend the optimal antibiotic treatment for each patient within 24 hours. This will help stop the spread of antibiotic resistance and conserve the efficacy of antibiotics for future generations.
Your tasks:
- support in writing the technical documentation within our ISO13485 QMS
- get our flagship product for tuberculosis through its technical performance evaluation
- support in planning the clinical performance evaluation
- research, design and execute the proof-of-concept experiments for follow-on products
- write publications about our finding
- present the company at scientific and business conferences
Clemedi offers you the possibility to make an impact in how patients with infectious diseases (tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections, hospital acquired infections) are diagnosed and treated. You will be in charge of a small team and will make the most out of limited resources.
Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- holds a PhD in biology, biochemistry or a related field
- has a deep understanding of molecular techniques particularly short and long read sequencing (Illumina, Ion S4, ONT minion)
- can perform experiments in the lab if necessary
- has prior experience writing technical documentation under an ISO13845 quality management system
- is a good project manager and clearly communicates expected timelines and deliverables
- proficiency in English is required
- prior experience working in a start-up environment is a plus.
