Job Description
A British family living in Geneva is looking for a live-in experienced Housekeeper-Babysitter to start as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will have a warm personality, be communicative, reliable and have experience looking after toddlers.
Place: Geneva 1231
Children: Two aged 3 and 5 years old
Conditions: Full-Time / Long-term contract
Languages required: Fluent English. French is valuable
Schedule: Available Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm with breaks during the day.
Flexibility to help with extra babysitting and travelling with the family. Overtime will be accordingly compensated in cash or free time.
Main tasks:
- Prepare breakfast and prepare the children for the school
- Take children to/from the nursery or activities
- General childcare, daily routines, bath time, preparing for bed, outdoor activities
- Prepare family meals
- Housekeeping chores: Dust, vacuum/mop floors, clean/sanitize bathrooms, laundry, grocery shopping, errands,
Requirements
- EU/Swiss Passport or Swiss Permit
- Strong written job certificates or job references
- At least 5 years of experience in the same role
- High cleaning standards
- Experience looking after toddlers.
- Ability to prepare simple meals
- Fluency in English. French is a plus.
- Good communication skills. Polite and discreet
- Organised and time management
- Available to travel
- A driving license is an asset.
