Happy Rentals is a Swiss company founded at the turn of the century and is looking for 2 figures to join the staff of the booking theme, the figures are to be framed as a paid internship, maximum age 25 years, to carry out the task from the office in Lugano after a period of accompaniment necessary in order to learn the basic guidelines for the management of the work remotely. The role of the Booking team is therefore crucial to the success of the following aspects
pre-booking assistance to customers
The candidate will work closely with the Complaints Department and report to the
Booking Team Manager and to the Quality Manager.
Required skills:
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Italian, English, German; additional knowledge of French is an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
- Shifts are between Monday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (always 5 out of 7 working days of course)
- Fluent in English, Italian with German and/or French. (so at least 2 languages + Italian
No guaranteed office space
Requirements
Fluent English, Italian with German and/or French. (so at least 2 languages + Italian )
- Available to work shifts from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., mainly from the Lugano office, also at weekends (with the possibility of working from home, depending on the new law)
(1 person will cover Tuesday to Saturday, the other Sunday to Thursday).
- Flexibility in handling various tasks, but mainly focus on recovering data of arriving guests and telephone contact for recovery of tourist tax, various extra charges. Beyond this they will make bookings and enquiries and there is scope for growth within the Booking team.
Being able to establish telephone dialogue with guests
Ability to transmit feedback to guests, directions and requests for possible fulfilments to be fulfilled
Ability to provide effective customer service to guests
Organisational skills
Excellent communication in English, French, German and/or Italian in addition, at least 2 languages other than Italian
- Polyglots are desired (3+ active language skills)
- Digital and oral communication
- Experience in customer service is a plus, but all organisational skills are welcome.
Duties:
- Supporting the sales network throughout Europe
- Supporting the booking team in communicating with guests
- Residency in the area is required as board and lodging is not provided
