The Quality Systems amp; Knowledge Management Team mission is to enable lean and agile business growth and operational excellence through digital transformation initiatives that optimize knowledge harmonization, transfer and sharing via inter-departmental strategies, support systems and training.
The Training Design Intern will work with our Global Quality Systems amp; Knowledge Management Team creating various types of learning resources for SOPHiA GENETICS customers, distributors and employees. The intern will partner with subject matter experts to analyze training needs and develop effective training materials that drive key business objectives. The incumbent will discover how a Learning Management System (LMS) is used to drive employee development in a corporate setting. In addition, they will gain experience in general LMS administration, including online course publishing, end-user technical support and basic reporting.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support the collection and curation of learning content,
- Turn ideas into compelling content in a variety of formats (short videos, infographics, animations, etc.), support in improving the learning platform,
- Support data architecture and performance metrics,
- Participate in the organization of internal projects, ensure a great virtual learning experience,
- Promote the training strategy and learning experience across the company
- Animate training community workshops,
- Analyze and audit training reports and metrics,
- Support employees with their use of the Learning Management System
- Support diverse tasks as needed in the team.
Requirements
You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s/ Master’s program in Learning Solutions / Learning Innovations / Educational Technology / Digital Education or equivalent.
- Digital native with experience in instructor-led and online training, training and education programme development, training marketing amp; communications,
- Passionate about continuous learning, learning innovation and inspiring corporate learning,
- Fast learner with a positive, can-do attitude, eager to further develop creative skills and abilities,
- Team player with a strong desire to experiment with agile ways of working in a global network,
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English, any additional language is a plus,
- Knowledge of various LMS solutions and several learning platforms,
- Familiarity with Articulate 360, Canva, Vyond is an advantage
