Job Description
A family in Lugano is seeking a nanny/housekeeper as soon as possible to take care of their 3-year-old child. This is a part-time position, with an average of 25-30 hours of work per week. If you hold a driving license, that would be a plus. Their son starts kindergarten at the end of August, so the family needs 5-6 days per week, 5-6 hours per day, and occasionally an overnight/weekend.
The main role of the nanny will be to take care of our child in their absence, ensuring their safety and meeting their basic needs such as preparing meals, play with him and dressing. In addition, the nanny's role will also include light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning the house, doing laundry, and ironing.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in childcare and be able to provide work references. Knowledge of English is required, and proficiency in other languages would be an additional asset. We are looking for a patient, responsible, organised, and reliable person who can work independently and adapt to our child's needs.
Requirements
- EU/Swiss passport or Swiss working permit
- Excellent references and experience as a nanny/housekeeper
- Excellent organisational skills
- Language required: English
- Driving license is a plus
